About Us

Grace Orthopaedic Centre offers a unique experience that unites all the orthopaedic specialists in the Bay of Plenty together into one convention location to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care and patient experience.

Our Centre gives patients seamless access to onsite consultation rooms, surgical theatres, advanced medical imaging, as well as hospital and day-stay rooms - all in one location. This unique setup ensures continuity of care from first consultation to post-operative recovery.

Our multidisciplinary team includes New Zealand–trained orthopaedic surgeons, alongside specialists in paediatrics, rheumatology, neurology, and sports medicine. Our orthopaedic consultants are all New Zealand trained with extensive overseas fellowship experience, providing a range of orthopaedic and post-operative services to support you throughout your care journey.

Note that appointments at Grace Orthopaedic Centre are for non-urgent conditions only and are made with a referral from a qualified health provider, such as your GP or physiotherapist.

Fracture Clinic

Our Fracture Clinic offers prompt, specialist-led assessment and treatment for fractures and orthopaedic injuries, as well as post-operative recovery.

With Bay Radiology and MRI services onsite, plus direct access to orthopaedic experts, we make it easy to go from diagnosis to treatment to recovery under one roof.

This is an ACC-funded, non-emergency outpatient service, designed for patients who are at least 7 days post-injury. Patients must be referred to this service.
